Self-Censored
This image reflects my ongoing struggle with self-censorship, something I recently realized I do when I’m creating. I guess I’m still afraid of being judged, especially by people close to me.It’s not necessarily judgment, but more about the fear that people might not truly love me—or love the real me.
How can we ever be better or happier if we’re afraid to be who we really are, just because we fear judgment? And if we know this, why do we sometimes judge others? I think it’s rooted in jealousy—the feeling that others have the freedom to be themselves without fear.
What’s the point of living like that? When do we stop canceling others and ourselves?
